Jacie R. Sakai

Jacie R. Sakai has been a paralegal since 1998. Prior to joining MJW she was a member of Hawaii Medical Service Association’s legal team where she gained experience in COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA and the Hawaii Prepaid Healthcare Act. She has experience in Insurance Commission appeals, general corporate contract reviews, and document production. Ms. Sakai is a graduate of the Paralegal Program at Kapiolani Community College.

 

Leslee A. Ellenson

Leslee A. Ellenson has been a paralegal since 1978. Prior to joining MJW she was a paralegal with Tesoro Hawaii Corporation and GTE Hawaiian Tel. She has extensive law firm experience in Hawaii and New York in matters relating to litigation, bankruptcy, corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, utility law, and government contracts. Ms. Ellenson is a graduate of Hofstra University with a B.S. in Education; of Queens College New York with a M.S. in Education; and is an Honors Graduate of the Legal Assistant Program at Adelphi University, New York.

 

Kelliann A. Shimote

Kelliann A. Shimote has been a paralegal since 2004. Prior to joining MJW, she was a paralegal at a large Honolulu firm where she worked on litigation cases involving breach of contract and managed the firm’s various collection cases. She also has experience in litigation and in estate planning. Ms. Shimote is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Journalism and the Paralegal Program at Kapiolani Community College.
