Jennifer K. M. Ueki
Jennifer Ueki represents management in a broad range of labor and employment matters in federal and state court, administrative proceedings, and arbitrations. Her practice includes discrimination and harassment, retaliation, disability accommodation, family leave, wage and hour compliance, employee privacy, and labor-management relations.
After beginning her legal career at Marr Jones & Wang, Ms. Ueki went on to hold human resources and financial management leadership roles in the public and private sectors, bringing practitioner insight to her legal counsel. She advises senior leaders on workforce governance, policy development and implementation, and sensitive personnel matters. She also conducts complex workplace investigations and culture assessments.
Ms. Ueki holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and previously served on the Hawaiʻi State Judiciary's Committee on AI and the Courts. She monitors developments associated with automated workforce technologies, vendor agreements, and employee use of AI—areas of increasing importance for employers.
Ms. Ueki has served as a Trustee of the Hawaiʻi Lawyers' Fund for Client Protection and was a Fellow of the HSBA Leadership Institute. She is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Hawaiʻi.
