Emily R. Marr
Emily Marr represents and advises management in labor and employment matters before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitrators.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Marr was a litigator with a large international law firm in New York City. Ms. Marr also served as a law clerk for three different federal judges: Chief Judge J. Michael Seabright of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, then-Chief Judge Susan Oki Mollway of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, and the Honorable David W. McKeague of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Ms. Marr received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School.
During law school, Ms. Marr was an Article Editor for the University of Michigan Law Review and a member of the Executive Board for the Hendry M. Campbell Moot Court Competition.
Before law school, Ms. Marr received her M. Phil. from Cambridge University and completed a Fulbright Scholarship in South Korea. Ms. Marr graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Whitman College.
Ms. Marr is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Hawaii and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Sixth Circuits.
